The Florida Association of Insurance Agents (FAIA) is celebrating its 111th Anniversary of the FAIA Convention and Education Symposium in Orlando, FL this year. This year’s event runs from June 18-20 and is a great way for insurance agents to network and catch up on the latest industry news while continuing their education through informative breakout sessions. The convention is one of the great ways FAIA fulfills its mission of enhancing the independent agency system through education, legislation, communication, and member services.

Insurance Networking Opportunities

Educational Opportunities
The FAIA convention is a great way to earn Florida Insurance continuing education (CE) credits by attending breakout sessions offered each day. Full details on each day’s breakout sessions can be found here. Along with a brief description of the topic, each session description also includes the amount of CE credits you will earn. One popular session today is the Legislative Roundup 2015 which offered a rundown of bills passed during this year’s session and how the insurance industry can expect to be affected. Other sessions offered this week focus on agency leadership, social media and a variety of topics of interest to insurance professionals.
